Metro
Sagrada Família station on lines L2 and L5 brings you out beside the basilica. From Plaça de Catalunya and the old town, you can reach it with a single change or none, depending on where you start. Use the official TMB journey planner for live routes and fares.
Finding your entrance
The basilica occupies a full city block, and the entrance you use depends on your ticket type and on venue arrangements at the time. Follow the instructions on your ticket and the signage on site, and allow a few minutes to walk around the block. Guided tours often meet at a specific point nearby — check your confirmation. For visitors with reduced mobility, the venue indicates Entrance B on Carrer de la Marina.
Luggage and arriving from the airport
There are no general luggage lockers at the Sagrada Família, and all visitors pass through security. If you are arriving in or leaving Barcelona on the day of your visit, leave bags at your accommodation or a dedicated storage service before you come.
What we don’t list
We don’t quote journey times or specific bus line numbers here: they vary with your starting point and change with service updates. The TMB planner is the reliable source on the day.
