How to choose
- Prefer Gaudí’s own hand? The Nativity façade is the one completed in his lifetime; its tower puts you close to that work.
- Drawn to bold, modern sculpture? The Passion side has a strikingly different, stripped-back style.
- Flexible? Pick whichever has availability at the time that suits you — the experience of going up and coming down is similar.
Whichever you choose, check that the tower is named on your booking and read the seller’s terms for weather or operational closures. Full rules are on our tower tickets page.
Frequently asked questions
Which tower is better, Nativity or Passion?
Neither is objectively better. They overlook the city from opposite façades, so the views differ. Many visitors choose based on availability for their date and time.
Can I switch towers on the day?
Do not count on it. The tower is part of your booking; any change depends on the venue and the seller.
Are the rules the same for both towers?
Yes: lift up, stairs down, minimum age 6, under-16s accompanied by an adult, and no wheelchair access.
